A few days ago, during Emilia's tummy time, I intentionally put her toys at her side to see if she would try to roll over. To my surprise, instead of rolling over, she was slowly maneuvering her legs and arms to turn the direction of her body and move up a little closer to the toys. I was so amzed and tried it again and this time I recorded a video. (But this time her right arm got stuck on the mat and under her chin and she couldn't move as fast & well as the first attempt - perhaps she got tired?)
NOTE: The video had to be shown x2 speed because it was an agonizingly slow process to watch.
Emilia was born on May 31, 2011, at 25 weeks and 5 days in gestational age. She came home on October 21, 2011 after spending 143 days in the hospital. Today she's a thriving, happy baby who continues to amaze us every single day. This blog records the journey of our miracle baby.
