Emilia has been sitting for about 20-30 seconds at a time, but today she sat for good 3-4 minutes and played with her toy. Three days ago when her physiotherapist visited, he told me our goal for the next two weeks was 1 minute of sitting but she's already surpassed that! I hope this was not a one-off thing though. We are also working on kneeling and weight-bearing on two hands in the next two weeks to get her ready for crawling.
Emilia was born on May 31, 2011, at 25 weeks and 5 days in gestational age. She came home on October 21, 2011 after spending 143 days in the hospital. Today she's a thriving, happy baby who continues to amaze us every single day. This blog records the journey of our miracle baby.
